How to Use

  1. Preparation: Start with clean, detangled hair. You can apply a Moona Jolie Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, or Castor Oil to moisturize and avoid friction.
  2. Sectioning: Divide the hair into sections according to the desired size of the threaded areas. Smaller sections make for finer, more detailed styles, while larger sections are quicker and give a bolder look.
  3. Threading: Take a piece of thread about an arm's length. Tie a knot at the end of the thread to secure it. Starting near the scalp, wrap the thread tightly around the section of hair, moving downward until you reach the end of the hair. Secure the end of the thread with another knot.
  4. Styling: Once the hair is threaded, you can leave it as is for a simple, stretched style, or you can shape the threaded sections into loops, buns, or other more intricate designs.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    question_mark

Is it normal to feel pain when threading hair?

Hair threading should not be painful.

Use Moona Jolie Shea Butter or Coconut Oil to smoothen, strengthen hair and also to avoid friction and damage.

    question_mark

How long can I leave my hair threaded?

You can keep your hair threaded for up to a couple of weeks, depending on how well you maintain it. It's a protective style, so it can help reduce manipulation and promote hair growth.

    question_mark

Can I wash my hair while it's threaded?

Yes, but it's advisable to do so gently to avoid unraveling the threads. Some prefer to use a dry shampoo or lightly dampen their scalp with a cloth instead of a full wash.

    question_mark

    Can the threading be reused?

Yes, our high-quality threads are designed for multiple uses. Simply follow the care instructions included in the kit to clean and preserve the threads for future styling.

    question_mark

Are there any additional products recommended for use with the threading kit?

We recommend our line of hair care products designed to complement the threading experience, including Shea butter for preparation and our nourishing scalp and hair serum which is the castor oil, as well as coconut oil for its hydration and antibacterial properties.
